AT NANZE, WE QUENCH THE THIRST FOR EDUCATION FOR THE CHILDREN OF MALAWI AND SUB-SAHARAN AFRICA
EDUCATION
INFRASTRUCTURE
PHASE 1:
Nanze will build three large classroom structures which will support primary students. This undertaking requires Nanze to raise approximately $20,000.
PHASE 2:
Nanze will build five large classroom structures, providing educational space for students to complete their primary studies. Phase 2 will contain Standards 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8.This undertaking requires Nanze to raise approximately $32,000.
PHASE 3:
Phase 3 requires the construction of a post-secondary school, the foundation of the Nanze Academy.
RESOURCES
Materials, books, and school furniture to support students.
TRAINING
Work with the Ministry of Education to provide trained Malawian teachers.
WATER
INFRASTRUCTURE
Nanze will complete a systems of boreholes (water wells) in the Dedza region.
SCOPE
Nanze intends to expand into Mozambique and Zambia through partnerships currently being developed in both countries.
SUSTAINABILITY
LIVESTOCK
Enriching the community through the use of a Livelihood Program, Nanze provides livestock for breeding, selling and/or consumption.
AGRICULTURE
Nanze is currently leasing land for the purpose of growing crops for the community surrrounding the school.
